Swaziland as a country has a strong national obligation to ensure that her natural resources and environment are used sustainably for future generations to strive in a healthy environment.
As some environmental problems do not respect boundaries, Swaziland also has an international obligation to co-operate with her neighbours and the global community in instituting collaborative measure to curb some of the environmental problems.
The UNEP-DEPI Department has just included Swaziland to be one beneficiary under its projects. One of the objects of the project is to strenghthen institutions on the implementation of environmental law.
